Our Story - About Us

My name is Mowunmi (AKA Wunmi) and I am the creator of Olori Lifestyle. At the core of who I am is love; love for God, love for people, and love for community. I live to create, impact and nurture people. My true joy is found in seeing people flourish in every aspect of their lives. I envision a world where women bloom and live from a place of possibilities, prosperity, purpose and passion.


Service has always been my compass underpinned by my values of contribution, curiosity, creativity, beauty and equity which are not just words but the foundation of my life’s work. 

As a creator, I seek to challenge the narrative around beauty for dark skin tones whilst promoting the good vibes of the Yoruba, Nigerian and African cultures mixed with the heritage of my Christian faith.

From Radiance Queen to Olórì Lifestyle

When I started out in business over a decade ago, my one marketplace word was Radiance. I started out with the nickname of Radiance Queen as my Twitter handle and later embodied the many variations that I have been called and I am still called such as Radiant Queen, Radiant Ebony, Radiant Mimi, Radiant Wunmi or Radiant Wumsy. I have come to realise that this isn't just a nickname, it's my marketplace identity and purpose. Radiance is who I am, and the gift I carry to others. When women encounter me, they should feel seen, nurtured, inspired and reminded of their inner brilliance.

Radiance Queen has blossomed to become Radiant Ambitions CIC and Radiant Heritage Ltd trading as Radiant Olori and Olori Lifestyle. Radiant Ambitions is a social enterprise that I currently run in the East End of London.

Through this clothing brand, I am extending the radiance I carry into garments that clothe women in faith, confidence and cultural pride. Just as a crown sits on a queen’s head, Olórì Lifestyle is about reminding every woman that she too, is crowned with worth, power, radiance, elegance, beauty, and dignity.
